Thrilled to see our audiovisual work Quantum Logos (Vision Serpent) featured in Singapore as part of the UNESCO International Year of Quantum Science and Technology (#IYQ) and the #F1GP Singapore 2025 events.
Created by the collective Quantum Travelers, the project brought together media artists Ina Conradi and Mark Chavez with myself, Bob Kastner, and Rupert Ursin (Institute of Quantum Optics and Quantum Information / IQOQI). First premiered at Ars Electronica Deep Space, Quantum Logos reimagines phenomena such as entanglement, superposition, and wave-particle duality through cultural icons and visual metaphors, making the counterintuitive beauty of quantum physics tangible and immersive.
Congratulations to Ina Conradi and Mark Chavez! Since its creation in 2018, Quantum Logos continues to captivate audiences worldwide with its distinctive visual and sonic language, offering a fascinating glimpse into the strange and mesmerizing world of quantum physics.
A special thanks to Nicola Bianchi, Nadia Stefanel, and the organizers Ambasciata d’Italia a Singapore e Brunei Darussalam and Fondazione Dino Zoli for creating opportunities that bring art and science into meaningful dialogue.
